First off, we need to get this out in the open. I am completely bias towards Hillary. So please comment with Barack bias so we can all be fair...or as fair as possible.
Soo....let's see...what's up....oh I remember.... HILLARY CLINTON WON OHIO AND TEXAS. Due to be obvious bias toward Hillary, I am absolutely thrilled. Luckily, I live in Ohio, so I got to go down to the Antheneum to witness history be made first hand.
I say history being made because a woman won a state that no president has gone without winning in (I believe) over 40 years. That is a huge deal. It was beyond amazing to witness the whole thing. Pictured is the huge screen at the Antheneum right after Clinton was announced as the winner. The crowd was going insane!! It was funny b/c Candy Crowley and Andrea Mitchell were there...but Candy was wearing jeans and sneakers, and just a nice shirt to look good on CNN. Hahaha. Funnny.
Hillary came out and was awesome as usual. We were happily surprised about the appearance of Chelsea. I asked her for a picture, but this random kid stepped in front of us and took it from us. I was reeaallly angered. But they were both so nice and the speech was really good. I liked the message: how you can never count anyone out and to always work hard when you are down.
The environment was great. Coming from a county that voted for Barack, it was nice to be around Hillary fans and just scream your lungs out for every percentage gained. The confetti was crazy too. Actually, I think it was borderline...too much. Everytime I opened my mouth a piece fell in. Awkward. Oh I took that picture -->
Overall, it was an amazing day. It ensured Hillary's validity as a candidate, and kept the exciting, historic race going for now.
