I'm Baaaacckk

I took a while off from the whole "writing on a blog nobody reads" thing. I think it served me well. I got to study for finals, which I'm sure did not help my chemistry grade, but nonetheless...I'm back.
We all know what has happened since my last entry. My beloved candidate had to drop out of the race. You can only imagine the grief. I think that Hillary fans everywhere are going through the stages of depression. Denial - hmm...well a few of us were kind of in denial for a while there at the end. Anger - Many of us took out our problems on Barack supporters, even Barack himself. Bargaining - VP?!!!? Depression - Still there. Acceptance - not quite. The worst part of the entire sequence of events was when Hillary gave her final speech as a candidate. My reaction was: Damn. You are amazing and now I am even more upset that you are out.
Enough of that. There's only so much I can complain. Oh, but I CAN complain about the terrible sunburn on my back. It is painful, itchy, and it makes wearing shirts feel very awkward.
Coming up this week - trip to Mississippi for Hurricane Katrina Relief. Isn't it sad that this is still going on? The Hurricane was nearly 4 years ago. Thank you President Bush for doing such a great job on recovery. Oh and thank you FEMA. Don't forget about FEMA. The media all ready has.
Speaking of the media, I am currently reading The Assault on Reason by Al Gore. Did you know our media is horrible?! I definately did, but this book only reassures my woes. Did you know that our media is the 53rd freest press in the world? That is horrible for how free we claim to be, and how we have the constitution and all. Anna Nicole Smith gets more airtime than most senators. How lovely.
Ponder all of that while I apply aloe to my lobsterback.
