Way to Go Steven Speilberg

Welcome to The Shiz, a ranting of me, Iz. I am currently watching Larry King Live and the show is devoted to sharks, shark attacks, etc. First of all, I am just going to get it out there: I really like sharks. I think they are pretty fascinating. I admit that after seeing Jaws when I was younger, I was a little afraid of getting into the bathtub for a while...but now I think reality has mostly set in for me. However I don't think that reality has set in for the rest of the world. Shark's numbers are declining by 90% every year. People kill them just to kill them because of their fear. This is why I say: Way to Go Steven Speilberg. Thanks for making a movie that is instilling fear in people and contributing to dying sharks. Actually I love that movie and pretty much all of his movies, but I think that people are being really unrealistic about it. It is more likely to be killed by lightning, Christmas lights, vending machines, or cows than it is to be killed by a shark. It is really disheartening to hear that these innocent creatures are being driven to extinction b/c we are afraid. I wouldn't say that sharks are completely gentle, but I would say that they don't deserve to be killed.
